Based on the archives of the INA (National Institute of Audiovisual), this project for a review focuses on television during the 1980s. This decade was the theater of the increasing influence of the small screen which, in France, witnessed the birth of the first private TV channel. Throughout this book, the growing shift between speech and pictures on television over time has been highlighted by a radical layout and a fast-paced narrative.
