Even though the eye mostly works through the understanding of details, the brain never fails to draw links and boundaries between them. Those boundaries are sufficient on their own to prove the influence that every detail has on every other one inside the frame. Reduced to a scale that drives them to come into contact, pictures become spaces of porosity in which values communicate, answer each others' questions.
