The goal of these posters is to be used as a starting point for the visual identity for an exihbition that would be called « Hiding, revealing, censoring ? » about the history of censorship. The posters themselves evoke the ideal of a free flow of ideas that are carried out through social media. However, as soon as the safety of everyone is on the line and the power of speech on Twitter or Instagram is measured by the number of followers or comments, how can we keep celebrating freedom, safety, and justice all at the same time ? In an era of mass sharing & exponential rhythm of life in the public space, how can we make sure that the debates on forums are sustainable?
